I love this piece, it’s so moralistic. It makes me both smile and cringe at the same time. It was written for a New Testament class. The assignment was to write an apocalypse (i.e. a revelation or vision of “hidden things”) following the basic structure and tropes of this genre from the ancient world. I never turned in my “apocalypse.” I ended up doing something else, but I am still amused at how silly my revelation is. I wrote this in one sitting on a Saturday morning.
